Sickle Cell Disease Awareness

Sickle Cell Disease is an inherited blood disorder affecting approximately 70,000 to 100,000 U.S. Citizens. The disease disproportionately affects communities of color, with more than 90% of those suffering from Sickle Cell Disease being non-Hispanic Black or African American, and an estimated 3%-9% are Hispanic or Latino.

Our mission is to empower the membership through education, advocacy, and fundraising, making an annual financial contribution to our Imperial Court Session’s host city.

Ruth M. Ellerbe Thinking Pink

Providing advocacy and timely information on breast cancer awareness, diagnosis, treatments, and cancer care support within our communities.  We encourage our members to volunteer and network in local, community-based breast cancer awareness programs.

The Imperial Court also provides financial support that assists with empowering our members, and their families, who are breast cancer survivors or currently receiving treatment.

Military Affairs

The Imperial Court recognizes and supports our members who have served or are currently serving in the Uniformed Armed Services.

We promote awareness and support to all of our Uniformed Armed Services members while enhancing our abilities to support our members in and out of uniform.
